Ace Taylor, is in their early 30s and lives in Naarm (Melbourne), Australia. While they works a 9-5 job in the legal sector they are a strong advocate for equal rights for everyone. A member of the Australian Greens, they’re a dedicated volunteer for them both in and out of election periods as well as volunteering for the National Trust of Victoria and a Seniors IT Computer Club. When they’re not busy volunteering they do freelance Virtual Assistant and Web Design.
Ace, identifies as neurodivergent having received diagnoses of Inattentive ADHD (ADD) and Autism, though they strongly believe you don’t need a formal diagnosis to know you have them, self-diagnoses are completely valid and they self-diagnosed for years before having a formal diagnosis. They also suffer from anxiety, depression, and a number of other disabilities though she calls the above her “main” ones.
Ace, also identifies as part of the LGBTQIA+ community. They are on the asexual spectrum as well as being nonbinary, using they/them pronouns for themselves. They typically use the word Queer to describe themselves in relation to both gender and sexuality. They are also in an open relationship.
Ace is also a giant nerd. In her spare time, she collects books, especially old ones, and attempts to read. They enjoy fantasy, science-fiction, fantasy, politics, books about race & gender, etc, and especially young adult novels. They also enjoy Dungeons and Dragons and currently play as a Human Wizard (who may or may not be based on Minerva McGonagall from the Harry Potter series. Please see here for their thoughts on JK Rowling, fandom, and transphobia). They also write both original and fanfiction, the latter of which is published on Ao3 though not often.
They are a collector of many things, but specifically a big fan of collecting soft toys and old books from the 1800 and early 1900s. All books are amazing though.
